Hockey University is headed by President and lead instructor, Sami Holmes. Utica University NCAA two-sport athlete turned professional skills coach with 15 years of experience, Sami is committed to providing detailed hockey instruction in order to help each of our students reach their goals.
Shelby Calof
Instructor
Defence Specialist
Ottawa native, Shelby Calof, excelled at Syracuse University both on the ice and in the classroom. Currently attending teachers college in her hometown, her passion for teaching and hockey are the perfect addition to the HU staff.
Our Programs
Private Session
Location: Ottawa and surrounding areas
1-on-1 skill development training tailored to exactly what the athlete needs. Topics can be position specific, skating and edgework, stick skills, shooting technique, etc.

Semi-Private Session
Location: Ottawa and surround
2-10 athletes involved in a small group skill development session. Focus can be position specific, skating and edgework, stick skills, shooting technique, game situational play, etc.

Team Development Session
Location: Ottawa and surround
